THE 5 BASIC ELEMENTS WHICH WERE TALKED ABOUT IN THE LAST POST ARE LISTED BELOW IN DETAIL:
- A SOURCE COMPUTER transmits data . this data can be in the form of file on disk or entered via keyboard.
- A COMMUNICATION DEVICE CONNECTED TO SOURCE COMPUTER converts data in the form in which it can be transferred.
- A COMMUNICATION CHANNEL transmits data from one computer to another.
- A COMMUNICATION DEVICE CONNECTED TO RECEIVING COMPUTER converts the data in the form in which it can be read by the receiving computer.
- A RECEIVING COMPUTER receives information and displays it on the screen or prints it and stores it.
